Pond in Rondholet Valley. Rondane Nasjonalpark, Norway. July 2010.

This was exposed near to midnight before a climb up Vinjeronden Mountain (2044 m./6706 ft.). It was relatively dark in the valley and no colors could be seen. Due to a long exposure (115 sec.) the camera revealed the subtle, warm light of the sun, sleeping behind the mountains.

This is the same subject, with a different angle, as Pond Of Reflection, which was made the morning after when I descended Vinjeronden, hence the difference in light characteristics.
