Store Venjetinden (1852m./6076ft.), Romsdal Alps in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. June 2011.

This mountain had caught my eyes on several occasion during my hiking trip around the Romsdal Alps. On my last evening, spent on the edge of Litlefjellet (800m.), I sat in awe and observed how the subtle sunset afterglow cast a hypnotizing glow to the jagged summit with its many triangular shapes.
Its first ascent was in 1881 via the northeast ridge by William Cecil Slingsby and Johannes Vigdal.
